We want you to have a great holiday, treating the gite and grounds as if they were
your home, to be able to relax and feel comfortable.
So ... no long list of "do's and don'ts" ... but just a few "Comfort Guidelines"
Children can be wonderful, but in the interests of children and their safety, in
our view the gite is not suitable for children under 13. The gite and terrace open
straight out onto the pool area, the pool is about 4 metres deep at the deep end
(although the pool is alarmed), and the stairs in the gite are too steep for many
children to use safely.
The gite is only suitable for one small, well behaved dog - partly because we now
have our own small doggie ("Keanu", a medium sized Daschund) but also our neighbours
have animals (pets and working) who wouldn't stand up well to being chased around
by an over-energetic dog on holiday !
Smoking : in the interests of other guests, please do not smoke in the gite or on
the terrace. If you need to smoke, please do so in the garden !
We take pride in welcoming and respecting the diversity of our guests, regardless
of background. We hope this is reflected in the feedback from guests. All we ask
in return is that guests show the same respect to ourselves and our neighbours. So
please don't book the gite if you feel uncomfortable with the idea of hiring a gite
from a same sex couple, or if you aren't prepared to offer a passing "bonjour !"
to our neighbours !
and finally ... please don't book if you are looking for us to be your professional
relocators or if you're after information about how to run a gite business ! We welcome
house hunters, but you do need to find the way that's right for you. We can't do
it for you !
